I totally forgot about the adobe cross platform formats. I was referring to what your "typical" pdf transfer protocol that most people use and convert to for send.
Yes, I have the acrobat program, but it must state specifically "editable" for sending. I have never received a file from clients in this format therefore thought it to be because unless you have acrobat, the default is similar to JPEG read only.

Is that beginning to change?...I am just now learning illustrator/photoshop....
