I have had a rash of PDF documents sent to me as artwork lately. I can open the documents with the PDF viewer, but there isn't much you can do with the graphic other than view it and print it. I noticed Photoshop has a PDF file extension option to open one, but haven't tried that yet. Of course, Photoshop is a bitmap editor and we usually need vector artwork. Does anyone have more experience with PDF documents? If you opened one in Illustrator, it is editable and useable? I guess I need to do some more homework, but it appears Illustrator is now wanting to save PDF documents instead of AI files. Yuk. It also makes you wonder if there will be multiple versions of PDF files, such as v1, v2, or v2002 which might not open in earlier PDF readers.

Just wondering. Sorry if this has nothing to do with paint or brushes, but we will probably have to deal with the issue sooner or later if we own a computer and are supplied files by customers.
